Barry Carpe was appointed Vice President, Product of SharpLink Gaming, Inc. in May 2025. He previously served as Vice President of Product Strategy and Business Development at SharpLink from January 2019 through February 2024. A seasoned digital product leader, Barry brings over two decades of experience in driving innovation and strategic product development within the sports media and entertainment industries.
Prior to SharpLink, Barry served in a range of senior product leadership roles at, or managed relationships with, high-profile companies, including CBS Sports Digital, AOL, NFL, NBA, NASCAR, FOX Sports, Time Warner Cable, and more; and immediately before returning to SharpLink in 2025, he was Vice President, Product at The Sporting News, one of the world's most trusted, venerable and fast growing sports media brands. Throughout his career, he has consistently delivered cutting-edge, fan-centric digital solutions, leading teams responsible for product strategy, user experience, and data-driven innovation. His work has spanned the launch and optimization of mobile apps, OTT platforms, live event experiences, and engagement-driven digital ecosystems.
Barry holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Hartford. He is recognized for his deep understanding of digital transformation in sports media and his ability to align technology with business goals to enhance user engagement and drive revenue growth. This includes receiving two Emmy-nominations for launching Fantasy Football and NBC Olympics applications with Time Warner Cable.
